Perfect for gifting, Frozen-themed parties, cookie boxes, or anytime you want a dessert that looks as magical as it tastes.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Truffle Centers

  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 11 ½ cups crushed vanilla cookies, graham crackers, or shortbread crumbs

For the Coating

  • 1 ½ cups blue candy melts

    • or white chocolate + blue gel food coloring

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, helps with smooth dipping)

  • White sprinkles, snowflake sprinkles, pearl sugar, or edible glitter

Instructions

1. Make the Truffle Base

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.

  2. Mix in cookie crumbs until a thick, moldable dough forms.

2. Shape the Truffles

  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into smooth balls.

  2. Place on parchment and freeze for 15–20 minutes to firm.

3. Melt the Candy Coating

  1. Melt candy melts in 20–30 second microwave intervals, stirring each time.

  2. Add coconut oil if needed for a silkier coating.

4. Dip the Truffles

  1. Remove truffles from the freezer.

  2. Dip each into melted coating using a fork, tapping off extra.

  3. Set on parchment and decorate immediately.

5. Serve

Let the coating harden fully. Arrange on a winter-themed tray or box them up as edible gifts. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Truffles must be very cold before dipping to prevent melting or cracking.

  • Candy coating sets fast — add sprinkles right away.

  • If coating thickens, reheat briefly (10–15 seconds).

  • Cookie crumbs vary by brand — add more if mixture feels too soft.
