Cheese-Garlic Chicken Wraps

  • Author: Linda

Description

These Cheese-Garlic Chicken Wraps bring together juicy chicken, rich melted cheese, and aromatic garlic all wrapped in a perfectly crisp tortilla. They’re quick, satisfying, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken

  • 450 g chicken breast, cut into small cubes

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 23 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp dried oregano (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Wraps

  • 4 large tortilla wraps

  • 200 g shredded cheese (mozzarella + cheddar recommended)

  • 100 g cream cheese

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Chicken

    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

    • Add the diced chicken and season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

    • Cook for 5–7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and lightly golden.

    • Add chopped garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

  • Prepare the Filling

    • Combine the cooked chicken with cream cheese, mozzarella, and cheddar in a bowl.

    • Mix until everything is creamy and well combined.

  • Assemble the Wraps

    • Warm each tortilla slightly to make it flexible.

    • Add filling to the center of each tortilla.

    • Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.

  • Crisp the Wraps

    • Heat a clean pan over medium heat.

    • Place wraps seam-side down to seal.

    • Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  • Serve

    • Slice in half if you like.

    • Garnish with parsley.

    • Serve warm with garlic dip, yogurt sauce, or your favorite condiment.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the wraps — it makes rolling difficult.

  • Warm tortillas fold more easily and won’t tear.

  • Crisping them in a pan makes a big difference in texture.

  • A cheese blend gives the best melt and flavor.
