  • Author: Linda

Description

Warm, melty, garlicky, cheesy and loaded with juicy chicken — the perfect fast lunch or satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken breasts, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Cheesy Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan

  • Pinch of salt & pepper

For the Wraps

  • 4 large tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • ½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)

  • Extra mozzarella for filling

  • Optional: ranch drizzle, jalapeños, red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. Season & Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked.

  4. Set aside.

2. Make the Cheesy Garlic Sauce

  1. Melt butter in the same skillet.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).

  3. Pour in the cream and simmer gently.

  4. Add mozzarella + parmesan and stir until melted and creamy.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. Assemble the Wraps

  1. Lay tortillas flat.

  2. Add lettuce, tomatoes (optional), cooked chicken, extra mozzarella, and spoon on plenty of cheesy garlic sauce.

  3. Roll tightly into wraps.

4. Toast the Wraps (Best Part!)

  • Toast in a clean skillet 1–2 minutes per side until golden and melty inside.

Notes

  • Lightly warming the tortillas makes them easier to roll.

  • Don’t let garlic brown or it becomes bitter.

  • Melt cheese fully into the sauce for smooth texture.

  • Toasting improves flavor and keeps wraps closed.
