This Chicken Garlic Sandwich features juicy, well-seasoned chicken with a punch of garlic, layered with fresh veggies and creamy sauce between toasted bread. It’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or even a snack that feels indulgent.


Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts (~200 g each)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp dried oregano (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Sandwich

  • 4 slices of bread (toasted or fresh)

  • Lettuce leaves

  • Tomato slices

  • Optional: cheese slices, pickles, or avocado


Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken

    • Flatten the chicken breasts slightly for even cooking.

    • Mix minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the chicken.

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat and let rest 2–3 minutes.

  • Make the Garlic Sauce

    • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

  • Assemble the Sandwich

    • Spread garlic sauce on both slices of bread.

    • Place lettuce leaves on the bottom slice.

    • Add cooked chicken breast on top of the lettuce.

    • Layer tomato slices, and cheese or avocado if using.

    • Cover with the top slice of bread.

 

  • Serve

    • Slice the sandwich in half if desired.

    • Serve immediately with a side of fries, chips, or salad.

Notes

  • Let the chicken rest after cooking to keep it juicy.

  • Spread the garlic sauce generously for maximum flavor.

  • Toasting the bread adds extra crunch and flavor.

  • Season the chicken well — it’s the main flavor of the sandwich.
