- 1 pint fresh strawberries (washed and dried thoroughly)

Prep the Strawberries
Wash strawberries gently and dry completely. Any water on the surface will prevent chocolate from sticking. -
Melt the Chocolate
Break chocolate into small pieces and melt gently in a double boiler or microwave (short intervals, stirring often) until smooth and glossy. -
Dip the Strawberries
Hold each strawberry by the stem or a toothpick and dip into the melted chocolate, covering it about two-thirds. Let excess chocolate drip off. -
Add Toppings (Optional)
Before chocolate sets, sprinkle with chopped nuts, coconut, or sprinkles if desired. -
Set the Chocolate
Place dipped strawberries on parchment-lined tray. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until firm. -
