  • Author: Linda

Description

A fun, bright-blue, ultra-creamy ice cream packed with crunchy cookies, soft cookie pieces, and that playful Cookie-Monster vibe everyone loves. It’s easy to make at home, no special equipment needed, and perfect for parties, summer treats, or anytime you want a colorful dessert that makes people smile.

Ingredients

Scale

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream, cold

  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Blue food coloring (gel works best)

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup crushed Oreos

  • 1 cup chopped chocolate-chip cookies

  • Extra mini cookies for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Make the Cream Base

  • In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  • In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and blue food coloring until evenly tinted.

  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the blue mixture until fully combined and fluffy.

2. Add the Cookies

  • Stir in the crushed Oreos and chopped chocolate-chip cookies.

  • Add more food coloring if you want a deeper blue.

3. Assemble & Freeze

  • Pour mixture into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container.

  • Top with extra cookie pieces if desired.

  • Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.

4. Serve

  • Scoop and enjoy as is, in cones, or with more cookies on top.

Notes

  • Whipping the cream fully is key to making the ice cream creamy and scoopable.

  • Don’t skip folding gently — keeps the texture airy.

  • For vibrant “Cookie Monster” blue, gel coloring gives the best shade without watering down the mixture.
