Ingredients
Ice Cream Base
-
2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream, cold
-
1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
Blue food coloring (gel works best)
Mix-Ins
-
1 cup crushed Oreos
-
1 cup chopped chocolate-chip cookies
-
Extra mini cookies for topping (optional)
Instructions
1. Make the Cream Base
-
In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
-
In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and blue food coloring until evenly tinted.
-
Gently fold the whipped cream into the blue mixture until fully combined and fluffy.
2. Add the Cookies
-
Stir in the crushed Oreos and chopped chocolate-chip cookies.
-
Add more food coloring if you want a deeper blue.
3. Assemble & Freeze
-
Pour mixture into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container.
-
Top with extra cookie pieces if desired.
-
Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
4. Serve
-
Scoop and enjoy as is, in cones, or with more cookies on top.
Notes
-
Whipping the cream fully is key to making the ice cream creamy and scoopable.
-
Don’t skip folding gently — keeps the texture airy.
-
For vibrant “Cookie Monster” blue, gel coloring gives the best shade without watering down the mixture.
