  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Season the Chicken:
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Sear the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F or 74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic over medium heat for about 1 minute, until fragrant (be careful not to burn it). Add the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits.

4. Add the Cream:
Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. Return the Chicken to the Pan:
Once the sauce has thickened, return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

6. Garnish and Serve:
Once the chicken is fully coated in the creamy sauce, remove from heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
