Description

This Grilled Cheese Burrito combines the gooey goodness of grilled cheese with the fun of a burrito, making it the perfect comfort food!


Ingredients

2 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cooked and seasoned ground beef (optional)
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
Butter or cooking spray for grilling


Instructions

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
2. On one tortilla, layer half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, followed by the ground beef (if using), diced tomatoes, and then the remaining cheese.
3. Place the second tortilla on top to create a sandwich.
4. Butter the outside of both tortillas or spray with cooking spray.
5. Carefully place the burrito in the heated skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before slicing in half.
7. Serve with sour cream on the side.

Notes

This recipe can be customized with your favorite ingredients such as jalapeños, avocado, or different types of cheese.
