Description

This hearty Hamburger Stew is a comforting dish perfect for chilly evenings. It’s packed with ground beef, vegetables, and a rich broth.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 potatoes, diced
2 cups beef broth
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup frozen peas
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
2. Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in the carrots, potatoes, diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for about 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
5. Add frozen peas in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
