Description

Ingredients

12 mini sweet bell peppers (halved and seeded)
1 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Arrange the halved mini sweet peppers on a baking sheet, cut side up.
3. Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into each pepper half.
4. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni.
5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the filled peppers.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil leaves if desired.
