Description

Got a sweet tooth and a taste for something fun and boozy? These Fireball Whiskey Cheesecake Shots bring together a silky no-bake cheesecake filling, a crunchy cinnamon-spiced graham crust, and a warm kick of cinnamon whiskey — all layered inside mini shot glasses. They’re perfect for parties, dessert tables, adult holiday gatherings, or a cheeky after-dinner treat. Easy to make ahead and serve chilled, these dessert shots are eye-catching, crowd-pleasing, and surprisingly simple to put together.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust Layer

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1½ cups heavy cream

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • 3 oz cinnamon whiskey (such as Fireball), divided

For the Topping

  • 1 can (≈ 21 oz) cherry pie filling

  • 2 oz cinnamon whiskey

  • Maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust Layer

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.

  2. Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the mixture into each shot glass.

  3. Press down lightly to form a compact crust.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add lemon juice and sugar; mix until fully incorporated.

  3. On medium speed, slowly add heavy cream and 1–2 oz of the whiskey.

  4. Mix until the filling becomes fluffy and holds soft peaks.

3. Assemble the Layers

  1. Pipe or spoon the cheesecake mixture into each shot glass, filling about ¾ full.

  2. In a bowl, mix cherry pie filling with the remaining 2 oz whiskey.

  3. Spoon a layer of the cherry mixture over the cheesecake.

  4. Top with a maraschino cherry, if desired.

4. Chill & Serve

  1. Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until fully set.

  2. Serve chilled. Optional: dust lightly with cinnamon or citrus zest.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for a silky smooth filling.

  • Add the heavy cream slowly to ensure the filling whips properly.

  • Chill thoroughly so layers firm up and don’t blend together.

  • Adjust the whiskey amount to suit your taste — reduce for milder shots or increase slightly for a stronger finish.

  • Can be made 1 day ahead, but add the garnish just before serving.

  • Serve cold; the filling softens at room temperature.
