Ingredients
For the Garlic Butter Sausage Bites:
1 lb (450g) of Italian sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
8 oz (225g) of pasta (fettuccine or penne)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
2. Add the sausage pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Season with oregano, salt, and pepper.
3. While the sausage is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same pot, add olive oil, heavy cream, and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve the creamy pasta topped with garlic butter sausage bites and garnish with fresh parsley.
