Ingredients
4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and black pepper to create the marinade.
2. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
5. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
