Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
4 whole wheat hamburger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese, or any of your favorite condiments
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix until just combined.
2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
5. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your choice of toppings.
Notes
