Description

This indulgent lasagna combines the delicious flavors of a cheeseburger with layers of pasta, creamy cheese, crispy bacon, and a garlic Parmesan sauce. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings!


Ingredients

9 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in the marinara sauce, cooked bacon, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
6. To assemble the lasagna: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
7. Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the meat sauce, and one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
8. Repeat the layers: noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, remaining meat sauce, and another third of mozzarella cheese.
9. Top with remaining three noodles and cover with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
10. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
12. Let it sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can customize this recipe by adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms into the meat sauce.
