This refreshing Avocado Mango Salsa is a perfect blend of creamy avocado and sweet mango, making it an ideal topping for tacos or a delicious dip for chips.
Ingredients
2 ripe avocados, diced
1 ripe mango, diced
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and minced (optional)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocados and mango.
2. Add the chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
3. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and gently fold everything together to avoid mashing the avocado.
4. Season with salt to taste.
5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
Notes
This salsa is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. To prevent browning, cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the salsa.
