- 2 salmon fillets
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Salmon
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and dried oregano. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.
Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
