Description

This Garlic Shrimp Gratin is a decadent dish featuring succulent shrimp baked in a creamy garlic sauce, topped with a golden breadcrumb crust. Perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a special family dinner!


Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and half of the chopped parsley.
5. Pour the cream mixture over the cooked shrimp in the skillet and stir to combine.
6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
7. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with remaining parsley and melted butter; sprinkle over the shrimp mixture.
8. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes

This recipe can be easily scaled up for larger gatherings. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!
