  • Author: lina_recipes

Description

If you’re a fan of rich, fudgy brownies and creamy cheesecake, this recipe is about to become your new favorite treat. These Kit Kat Cream Cheese Brownies combine the best of both worlds: a decadent chocolate base, a luscious layer of cream cheese, and crunchy Kit Kat pieces for the perfect contrast in texture. Whether you need a dessert for a party, a cozy night in, or just a sweet pick-me-up, this indulgent treat will satisfy all your cravings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Kit Kat bars

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup (65g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chopped Kit Kat bars.
  4. Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Assemble the Brownies: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Dollop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  6. Add the Final Touch: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Kit Kat pieces over the top.
  7. Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as the brownies should remain fudgy.
  8. Cool & Serve: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. Enjoy!
