Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon chili powder or cayenne pepper for heat

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  • Place drumsticks in a mixing bowl and toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and chili powder if using.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 °F (200 °C) for 3 minutes.
  • Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook for 18 to 22 minutes, flipping the drumsticks halfway through until the skin is golden and crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165 °F (75 °C).
  • Remove the drumsticks and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, BBQ, honey mustard, or buffalo sauce.

Notes

  • Add ½ teaspoon baking powder to seasoning for extra crispy skin.
  • Toss cooked drumsticks in BBQ or buffalo sauce to add flavor.
  • Try alternative seasonings like lemon-pepper, Cajun, or garlic-parmesan.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350 °F (180 °C) for 5 minutes.
