- 1 lb ground beef 80/20
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¾ cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- lettuce tomato, onion, pickles (optional)
- mayo ketchup, mustard, aioli (optional)
Combine ricotta, Parmesan, parsley if using, and salt and pepper in a bowl; mix until smooth and set aside.
Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions and flatten each into thin patties.
Place ricotta filling on 4 patties, leaving edges clear, then top each with another patty; pinch edges to seal.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place stuffed burgers in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked and browned.
Optionally, toast buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes before assembling the burgers.
