1 bowl for tossing chicken
- 2 flatbreads naan, or flatbread crusts
- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken rotisserie or leftover
- ½ cup BBQ sauce your favorite
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese optional
- ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
- Fresh cilantro or parsley chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: sliced jalapeños bacon bits, crispy onions, extra BBQ sauce drizzle
- Olive oil or melted garlic butter for brushing, optional
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce in a bowl until evenly coated.
Place flatbreads on the baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil or garlic butter if desired.
Optionally spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce over each flatbread.
Sprinkle half of the cheese on each flatbread, add BBQ chicken and red onion, then top with the remaining cheese.
