Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 –6 hamburger buns
  • Sliced cheddar or American cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sliced pickles

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  • Add ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.
  • Simmer the mixture for 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce thickens and flavors blend.
  • Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto hamburger buns.
  • Top sandwiches with cheese, shredded lettuce, and sliced pickles.
  • Serve warm with your choice of fries, chips, or a side salad.

Notes

  • Add special sauce (ketchup, mayo, pickle brine) for extra Big Mac flavor.
  • Wrap sandwiches in foil for packed lunches.
  • Store leftover filling in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat gently before serving.
