Ingredients
  

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cups seltzer water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bottle vegetable oil 48 ounces
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce
  • 5 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Cut the cauliflower into large bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, Cajun spice, baking powder, and black pepper.
  • Add seltzer water to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth to form a batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter and fry in batches until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • For the buffalo sauce, combine hot sauce, vegan butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small pan and simmer over medium heat for five minutes.
  • Toss the fried cauliflower wings in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
  • Serve the cauliflower wings warm with your choice of dipping sauces.

  • Use fresh cauliflower for best texture.
  • Serve with vegan ranch or blue cheese dip.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator up to 2 days.
