Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups cubed ham
  • 2 cups frozen green peas
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • Dash of hot sauce optional
  • Salt black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, ham, peas, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and hot sauce if using. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until bubbly, cheese is melted, and lightly golden.
  • Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
