- 1 8 oz package refrigerated crescent-roll or pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese optional
- 20 –30 slices pepperoni
- a few tablespoons grated Parmesan or other hard cheese optional
- pizza or marinara sauce warmed, for dipping (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
Unroll the dough and separate it into individual triangles or rectangular pieces, depending on the dough type.
Place a small amount of shredded cheese on each dough piece, then add 2-3 slices of pepperoni and sprinkle Parmesan or extra cheese if desired.
Roll each piece of dough tightly from the wide end toward the point, then place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Allow roll-ups to cool for a few minutes before serving warm, ideally with warm pizza or marinara sauce for dipping.
