- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 fresh tomatoes sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 to 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Add minced garlic during the last minute of cooking and sauté briefly.
Place slices of mozzarella and tomato on each chicken breast, cover the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese melts.
