Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 fresh tomatoes sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic during the last minute of cooking and sauté briefly.
  • Place slices of mozzarella and tomato on each chicken breast, cover the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Remove from heat, top with fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve warm, accompanied by salad, pasta, or rice.

Notes

  • Use fresh mozzarella for best texture.
  • Add a splash of balsamic vinegar if glaze isn’t available.
  • Pound chicken breasts for even cooking.
