Ingredients
  

  • 1 package cocktail sausages 14–16 oz
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce fresh or canned
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce optional
  • 1 –2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or orange juice
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or whole cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and ketchup or BBQ sauce in a medium saucepan or slow cooker.
  • Stir in apple cider vinegar or orange juice for brightness.
  • Add cocktail sausages and coat them gently with the sauce.
  • Simmer over low heat on stovetop for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thick and glossy.
  • Alternatively, cook in slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours until hot and sticky.
  • Transfer to serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley or fresh cranberries if desired.
  • Serve warm, ideally with toothpicks for easy finger food.
