Ingredients
  

  • 4 to 5 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 8 to 10 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar/mexican blend
  • 8 oz 1 block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or homemade ranch seasoning
  • 2 to 3 green onions sliced
  • optional: extra cheese for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon to the creamy mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions.
  • Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Add extra cheese on top before baking for a cheesier finish.
  • Use homemade ranch seasoning to control salt and flavor.
  • Incorporate diced jalapeños or roasted peppers for heat.
