1 oven preheated to 375 °F
1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper
1 mixing bowl for filling
- 10 –14 oz cooked shrimp chopped
- 1 sheet puff pastry or crescent roll dough thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or blend
- ½ cup cream cheese softened
- 2 –3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 –3 tbsp fresh parsley or chives chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon zest or hot sauce for extra zing
In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper and mix evenly.
Preheat the oven to 375 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the puff pastry or crescent dough on a clean surface. If using crescent dough, pinch seams to seal.
Spread the shrimp and cheese filling evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly from one edge into a log.
Slice the log into 8 to 10 equal pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until rolls are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Let the rolls cool slightly before serving warm, optionally drizzling with lemon juice or hot sauce.
- Puff pastry gives flaky layers; crescent dough yields softer rolls.
- Mix mozzarella and pepper jack cheese for extra flavor.
- Serve with marinara, garlic butter, or ranch dip.
- Assemble in advance and refrigerate until baking.
