Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup dried beef finely chopped
  • 1 –2 green onions finely sliced
  • 1 –2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley extra shredded cheese

Instructions
 

  • Combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
  • Add chopped dried beef, sliced green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Shape the mixture into a ball using clean hands or a spatula.
  • Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap or place in a covered bowl.
  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or overnight to firm up and allow flavors to meld.
  • Unwrap, garnish with parsley or extra cheese if desired, and serve with crackers, breadsticks, or vegetables.

  • Chill longer for a firmer texture.
  • Add chopped nuts or diced pimentos for extra flavor and texture.
  • Fresh dill or chives pair well with dried beef.
