- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning or homemade blend
- 1/4 cup salsa or taco sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Mexican blend, or favorite
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Optional: diced bell peppers corn, or finely chopped tomatoes for extra veggies
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.
Stir in taco seasoning and salsa or taco sauce; cook for 1–2 more minutes until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface and spread an even layer of the beef mixture over it.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the beef and add optional veggies if desired.
Roll the tortilla tightly from one edge to the other to form a log.
Cut the rolled tortilla into 3–4 equal pinwheels using a sharp knife.
Arrange pinwheels on a plate and serve warm or at room temperature.
