1 large skillet for cooking quesadillas
1 spatula for flipping and pressing
1 brush to apply butter or oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or a blend
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil
- Optional: sliced jalapeños onions, chicken, mushrooms
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Place one tortilla in the pan.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over half or the entire tortilla surface.
Add any optional fillings on top of the cheese.
Fold the tortilla in half or top with another tortilla.
