Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 12 ounces spicy Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey for drizzling
  • Fresh basil optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  • Add warm water and olive oil, kneading the dough for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Divide the dough into two portions and roll each out thinly on a baking tray or pizza stone.
  • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over each dough base.
  • Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on the sauce.
  • Top with cooked crumbled sausage and crumbled feta cheese.
  • Add red pepper flakes if desired for extra heat.
  • Bake pizzas for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Drizzle honey over the hot pizzas and garnish with fresh basil if using.
  • Slice and serve immediate.
