Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • cups BBQ sauce your favorite
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Pour BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar over the chicken and stir gently to coat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours until chicken is very tender.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  • Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it thoroughly with the sauce.
  • Serve the shredded chicken warm in buns, wraps, or over rice.

  • Use chicken thighs for juicier results.
