This creamy beef and bowtie pasta is a comforting, one-pan dish that’s packed with flavor. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight meal with minimal effort!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Beef

  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned (about 5-6 minutes).
  • Drain any excess grease if necessary.

Step 3: Add Seasonings & Liquids

  • Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add diced tomatoes and beef broth, stirring to combine.
  • Simmer for 3-4 minutes to blend flavors.

Step 4: Make it Creamy

  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and cream cheese.
  • Stir until cream cheese is fully melted and sauce is smooth.

Step 5: Combine Everything

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Stir in shredded cheese until melted and combined.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
  • Pair with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal!
